A BRIEF FISCAL STATEMENT

The funding for Polymorphic Plastic Parade’s 5-week sustainable tour has not yet been secured in total. Primarily it has been funded personally and by private donors. We have applied for a public art grant and are scheduling 2 fundraising events to happen in May and June. We are currently accepting in-kind donations, advice, and new donors!

There are a number of vehicle adjustments and supply purchases that must be made before we launch. Some of these things are essential to sustain the lives of our crew members. (food. soap. shoes.) Others are essential in propelling the tour into motion. (new bus tires. gaskets and hoses. fuel.) And still some others fall into yet another category; in order to embrace our principles in environmental preservation, our bus requires the addition of sustainable features. (waste vegetable oil system. solar panels. composting toilet.) And categories remain yet! Toys! Cookies! Candy! Inflatable swimrings! These final procurements are not vital to life…although, they may prevent us from strangling one another over the 5-week journey. So in that case, they very well might be.
